Ohio University Football Raises Childhood Cancer Awareness

Ohio University Go Gold

The OU Football Team is partnering with the Turn It Gold to recognize September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Gold ribbons will be painted on the field, placed on players’ helmets, and worn by coaches. When the players take the field wearing gold socks and wristbands, they will be battling for a win against Gardner-Webb and to raise awareness about the reality of childhood cancer and the need for change. Special Thank you for the second year to Zonez for being such a big donator and supporter of all Ohio University, Athens and Turn It Gold efforts! Part of the proceeds from the sale of game day shirts will be donated to Turn It Gold.

Tees are available online through the College Bookstore.
