Brave individuals inspire others. Bold action creates change. Turn It Gold raises awareness of childhood cancer and increases funding for the cause. Turn It Gold was created to provoke, inspire, incite, combat and transform the current landscape of childhood cancer. We exist to do all we can to accelerate a cure for our nation’s #1 childhood-disease killer.

Our goal is to unite families and communities affected by childhood cancer, inspire businesses and individuals to take bold action and elevate the funding of childhood cancer research to expand treatments that can cure pediatric cancer.

We encourage everyone to share stories of bravery, donate undoubtedly, share impactfully, connect meaningfully and create purposeful community events.

We believe that if we come together and take action, curing childhood cancer will be possible.

Turn It Gold was inspired by Charlie Dina and his battle with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma. Charlie was diagnosed at age 4 and was given a 50% chance of survival. Today, Charlie is surviving and teaching us what Be Brave means every day as he fights to be cancer free.

Charlie’s mom and dad, Mike and Angela Dina, were compelled to do more than support their own family. They established Turn It Gold to support all families and all children battling pediatric cancer — to unite everyone who cares and everyone working to find a cure, knowing that the power of all of us together is the best chance our kids have.

#TURNITGOLD and Get Involved

September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. This is our time to honor children and families affected by the disease and rally support for ground-breaking research that can save our kids' lives.
