Stratford High School turned it gold this September.

This year, Stratford High was able to raise awareness and a whopping $20,000 for pediatric cancer.
These funds were gathered through various activities such as T-shirt sales, a dress-up week, a pep rally, the Gold Out football game, and a research donation from Turn It Gold.

All funds raised will go towards supporting the Osteosarcoma Institute through the Miles of Hope Osteosarcoma Fund.

At the Stratford High Turn it Gold football game, we recognized David and Ingrid Hartz, parents of Miles Hartz; who tragically lost his battle with Osteosarcoma this past June. We were so thankful for the chance to honor them with a donation of $20,000.

During the game, a ceremony was held to recognize 12-year-old Scarlett Filippov, and Stratford freshman Kaden Pointer. Both were honored with bravery medals engraved with their names and the Turn It Gold battle cry.

Please feel free to watch this awesome video that was posted on the Spring Branch Independent School District page. Here you can learn more details about this amazing event and honorees!
