Six Ohio University students and co-director of the Storytelling Institute Dr. Lynn Harter traveled to Houston for a Turn It Gold fundraiser to address the long-term late effects of childhood cancer treatment. They met Barbara Geralds Schoonover who endowed the Storytelling Institute. Students volunteered at the event, some screened stories they produced about children and families living with childhood cancer and brought a taste of Athens to Texas in the form of Passion Works Studio flowers.
